2013 Ford Flex has never really caught on in the market, but the car has a cult in a particular segment of the market, among those who enjoy its quirky exterior and interior to seven passengers. Ford introduced a modified version on Thursday at the auto show in Los Angeles.
In 2013 Flex gets a few changes that will make it more attractive to consumers. The basic 3.5-liter V6 engine will increase the capacity of 20 liters. a. up to 285 liters. a., while the 3.5-liter Ecoboost V6 will remain unchanged. The basic V6 engine received an increase in fuel efficiency.
The revised front end (similar to what was previously seen on the Flex trim levels higher) notes a big change for 2013 Ford Flex, along with updated interior and a new version of entertainment and information system MyFordTouch. Features such as a warning system in the vehicles ‘blind spot’, adaptive cruise control button and the ignition, rear seat air, rain sensors and windscreen wipers on the active system for parking will also be available.
