2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Sports Car

Chevrolet or also called Chevy is already the model year of 2013. This explains that even Chevrolet celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Corvette. The American sports car icon was launched in 1953, as a convertible. To celebrate, Chevrolet brings two specialties. A special version of the Corvette convertible, called the 427 Convertible Collector Editions, and the 60th Anniversary package. At the same Chevrolet adopted so that the current generation of the built since 2005 C6 series, which goes into its last year of production.


Convertible Collector Edition of 427 is based on the standard Corvette and follows a number of previous anniversary models, which began in 1978 with the 25th Anniversary model. They are usually offered only in special packages for the Z06 and the ZR1′s almost 650-hp top version. Reared are Michelin PS2 tires, which otherwise find in the ZR1 use. To save a few kilograms, donated the 427 Chevrolet Convertible Collector Edition or parts made of carbon, which are set forth in part in the Z06-style. From the material are the hood, fenders, floor panel and the optional front splitter and side skirts also at extra cost. Each Collector Edition Corvette receives a unique identification number, similar to the ZR1. The anniversary convertible will be available in summer 2012 for U.S. retailers.


All of the new model year vehicles; including the 427 Convertible Collector Edition can be ordered with the 60th Anniversary package. The exterior color Arctic White is combined with a Blue Diamond leather interior, which are incorporated into suede accents. The convertibles come with a blue roof. In addition, there are carbon fiber front splitter, a rear spoiler in the ZR1-style, corresponding Anniversary badges, black painted brake calipers and the “60th” logo on wheel covers, steering wheel and head restraints. Optional Chevrolet still offers a racing stripe package in Pearl Silver Blue, with the convertible pulls up to the war paint on the hood. Regardless of the anniversary package that is available from early summer 2012 in the United States, shall each Corvette model year of the new interior and exterior 60th-Anniversary badges. Prices for the Model 427 Special Collector Edition Convertible 60th Anniversary Package and the Chevrolet have not yet been notified.
